I was raised in Casper and consider myself blessed growing up in Wyoming and experiencing all this state has to offer.  After graduating high school, I attended Casper College and the University of Wyoming to obtain my bachelor's degree in Nursing.  I worked as a Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery nurse for a period spanning 12 years. During that time I became a Certified Childbirth Educator as well as a Certified Lactation Consultant.  Although I loved this work, I had  a strong desire to provide women's care in a greater capacity, therefore, I returned to Frontier University and Case Western Reserve University to attain my Master's degree in Nursing and certifications for Nurse- Midwifery and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in 2004.  I have now practiced as a Certified Nurse Midwife in Rock Springs, Wyoming for 16 years. I am currently practicing at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County which is one of the best hospitals with the greatest staff!

I am the mother of three boys who are the light of my life. Riley, Kyler and Drew are all grown and beginning to make their marks in this crazy world- I am the proudest mom ever!  The love and inspiration is my other half, Monte, who keeps me focused and fed! We enjoy camping in our RV, hiking, gardening, and experiencing new adventures.
